HDI Museum Visit: Kreeger Museum, Washington D.C.
It’s a beautiful autumn weekend and we made our way to Washington D.C. for a special occasion. While there we visited the impressive Kreeger Museum. The Kreeger Museum is a private, non-profit museum and the former residence of David and Carmen Kreeger. It was designed by renowned architect Philip Johnson and it is among the few examples of his work in DC. The Kreeger’s focus on 19th and 20th century paintings is evidenced by works of Monet, Picasso, Renoir, Cezanne, Chagall, Miro, and Stella. It is such a treat to spend time here and the sculpture-filled gardens invite you to spend a little time outside in this tranquil setting, especially when it is sunny and bright out. Enjoy our photos and enjoy the fall season!
