HDI Exhibition PIck: “Opener 29: Arturo Herrera – Day Before”

Another really spectacular exhibition currently on view at the Tang Museum is Opener 29: Arturo Herrera – Day Before. Venezuelan born and now Berlin based artist Arturo Herrera’s work uses bold colors and references abstraction and popular culture. For his latest paintings,  Herrera alters and abstracts books found at flea markets. The Tang Museum did a fantastic job using a mix of bold colors walls, as well as minimalist white walls for exhibiting Herrera’s paintings and we love this new way of summer reading!
