HDI Exhibition Tip: “The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920’s” at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum
The Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum just opened a new exhibit: “The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920’s” and this exhibit is absolutely spectacular! A show stopper and a show that you don’t want to miss! “The Jazz Age” highlights more than 400 examples of interior design, industrial design, decorative art, jewelry, fashion, and architecture, as well as related music and film and this exhibition defines the American spirit of the period in a splendid fashion. We will be back, as there is so much to see and study and we want to highlight the beautiful jewelry in a separate Musings entry as well. Enjoy our snapshots and click here for the New York Times review by Roberta Smith. “The Jazz Age” is on view until August 20th, 2017 at the Cooper Hewitt.
