HDI Exhibition tip: “The Race of Gentlemen” Harley Davidson Museum, Milwaukee
Sometimes inspiration strikes in the most unusual places. We always enjoy visiting the Harley Davidson Museum when in Milwaukee. It is a wonderful museum and always has the most interesting exhibitions. This time around we saw “The Race of Gentlemen”. This exhibition is about how dedicated craftsmen and women build and restore vintage American hot rods and motorcycles to blast down the beaches of the Jersey Shore. What? Yes, vintage cars and motorcycles and the beach, a winning combination. We never heard about this race and the devotion and learned more seeing this excellent exhibit and reading an article on this phenomena (click here to read) We love the gripping TROG portraits by Cory Piehowicz and the vintage bikes and cars from past races. A trip down to Wildwood, NJ is in order, but in the meantime, enjoy our favorite photographs. The exhibition is open until September 4th, 2017 and for more information click here.
