HDI Exhibition Tip: “Calder / Kelly” at Levy Gorvy Gallery, New York

It’s the Fall season and lots of amazing exhibitions are opening all over the city. It’s always a special experience to see a wonderful show and a really special one was the newly opened “Calder / Kelly” show at Levy Gorvy Gallery here in New York.

This exhibition explores the visual and personal affinities between landmark American artists Alexander Calder and Ellsworth Kelly. Presented in collaboration with the Calder Foundation and Ellsworth Kelly Studio, the exhibition is a discourse between generations that celebrates the artists’ friendship and their extraordinary experiences as Americans who were shaped by significant periods of time spent living in Paris.
